The performed comparative analysis of social and economic development of the largest cities of the SFD in period January-March 2015 showed that Krasnodar is ahead of other capital cities of the SFD regions by 14 out of 31 indicators of social and economic development.
Today there was official opening of sculpture composition “A link between generations” in the vicinity of school №48 in Postovaya Street. The event was participated by Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov and Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko, cadets of Krasnodar Presidential cadet school, veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
The formal award ceremony for the prize of Krasnodar’s Head took place in administration of the capital of Kuban.
Within the visit of Volgograd Region delegation headed by Chairman of regional Duma Nikolay Semisotov a roundtable discussion was held in administration of Kuban capital. The guests were explained the main aspects of advanced experience of Krasnodar in the matter of housing and utilities infrastructure, urban land improvement and creation of a single architectural look, organization of effective interaction between authorities and population.
Today representative delegation of one of the largest regions of Sothern Federal District led by Chairman of Volgograd Region Duma Nikolay Semisotov is in the capital of Kuban. The aim of the visit is getting to know Krasnodar’s experience in the matter of the development of city infrastructure and urban land improvement within the framework of interregional cooperation.
Last weekend Krasnodar delegation headed by Mayor of the capital of Kuban and Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma took part in celebrations of the 300th anniversary of the foundation of Karlsruhe (Germany). During official reception held in Karlsruhe’s city hall in his speech Vladimir Evlanov congratulated citizens on behalf of all delegations from sister cities.
Today, on June 22 at 04.00 a.m. – on commemorative date and exact time of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War in 1941 thousands Krasnodar citizens have joined public All-Russian action dedicated to the Memorial Day. Totally about 10 thousand people came to the event. Temporary acting Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev and First Deputy Head of Krasnodar Mikhail Frolov together with citizens holding lit candles in hands walked along the main street of the city.
Today in the course of the 81st session of Krasnodar City Duma deputies approved the procedure of competition for the selection of candidates for the office of Krasnodar City municipal formation Head and scheduled elections for the 6th City Duma which will be held on September 13, single voting day. The session was participated by Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov.
Vladimir Evlanov and Mayor of People’s government of Harbin (PRC) Song Xibin and members of the Chinese delegation discussed the expanding of partnership ties between sister cities, development of bilateral cooperation in the area of education, economy, culture, agriculture and tourism.
Presentation of Krasnodar’s investment potential was held in the beginning of June during the visit of Krasnodar delegation in the capital of China. The event was attended by more than hundred businessmen, including potential investors.
