Devoted to the 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War marching in review of parade squads, military and retro-equipment happened at Theatre Square. Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev and Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov took part in the ceremony.
A solemn meeting devoted to the 69th anniversary of soviet people’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held in Krasnodar Philharmonics.
Kuban Governor and Krasnodar Head made a working tour around the city. Particularly they dwelled on several test variants of fencing which are started to be installed at central city’s streets due to execution of orders of the regional headquarters for the development and land improvement in Krasnodar.
Simultaneously two patriotic youth demonstrations – “Parade of winners” and “Immortal regiment” are to be organized in Kuban capital in honor of 69th anniversary of the Great Victory on May 9.
A demonstration was organized by Krasnodar regional branch of All-Russian political party “United Russia” and regional trade-unions council.
Awards deserved by city’s administration and its structural subdivisions were distributed during today’s operational meeting in Krasnodar Mayor’s Office. Particularly, the Federation Council Committee on federative framework, regional policy, local government and North affairs awarded a commendation to city’s Head Vladimir Evlanov.
Annual parade of Kuban Cossack Army historical divisions devoted to the 23rd anniversary of repressed peoples rehabilitation enactment took place at Theatre Square today. Dozens of thousands of citizens and city’s guests came to have a look at large-scale performance. Cossacks were greeted by Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev.
All city fountains started working today at 19:00. Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov participated in a solemn ceremony at Theatre Square.
At today’s 54th meeting of Board of Directors on a voluntary basis Vladimir Evlanov reported the main indicators of regional center economic development.
Over 14 thousand people came to Pushkin Square in solidarity to Crimea residents who had voted in a referendum for accession to the Russian Federation. Leading political and public figures spoke during the meeting.
