The Federation Council of the RF has remarked achievements of Krasnodar in the sphere of local government

Awards deserved by city’s administration and its structural subdivisions were distributed during today’s operational meeting in Krasnodar Mayor’s Office. Particularly, the Federation Council Committee on federative framework, regional policy, local government and North affairs awarded a commendation to city’s Head Vladimir Evlanov.

— A commendation is awarded for a high professionalism and significant contribution to the establishment and development of local government in Russia, — first Deputy Head of Krasnodar Mikhail Frolov said when delivering a commendation to Krasnodar Head.

Besides of that Vladimir Evlanov was awarded with honorary certificate of Krasnodar Region administration for the 1st place taken by Krasnodar according to the results of regional month of the mass-defensive and military-patriotic work which had been conducted from January 23 to February 23. Krasnodar takes the 1st place in regional month for four years in succession.

Vladimir Evlanov also congratulated chiefs of structural subdivisions of Krasnodar administration that placed in top three of different nominations on results of month of military-patriotic work.

— Krasnodar people pay a great attention to the military-patriotic upbringing of children and youth and a broad experience in this sphere has been obtained by now. This military-patriotic month is yet more proof that this work is organized in our city on the highest level, — Vladimir Evlanov said.

Preparation to celebrations of the May Day and Day of the Great Victory was discussed in the course of operation meeting as well. Memorial complexes, monuments and obelisks are being put to rights in Krasnodar especially to the date of May 9. In particular, painting works are conducted at sites. According to the Director of the department of communal services Konstantin Semernin all the work will be completed up to this festive date.
