Alexander Tkachev and Vladimir Evlanov estimated variants of fencing in Krasnodar

Kuban Governor and Krasnodar Head made a working tour around the city. Particularly they dwelled on several test variants of fencing which are started to be installed at central city’s streets due to execution of orders of the regional headquarters for the development and land improvement in Krasnodar.

— Fencing has to blend with the surrounding landscape to the full extent, fit well by color and stay in general architectural look, — Alexander Tkachev stated.

The working tour around the city was also taken part by chief of the regional headquarters, first Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Region Dzhambulat Khatuov, Vice-Governor Ivan Peronko, chief architect of Krasnodar Region Yuri Rysin, first Vice-Mayor of Krasnodar Mikhail Frolov and acting director of the department of architecture and city construction of Krasnodar Igor Mazurok.

During the tour Alexander Tkachev and Vladimir Evlanov had a look at a number of streets where works on setting of the single architectural look are actively carried out. They started from Oktyabrskaya Street where some sections of new fencing had been already mounted. This is one of variants confirmed by the regional headquarters. The works at the site are to be continued.

Then Kuban Governor and Krasnodar Head examined «pilot sector» situated at Severnaya Street in the section between Krasnaya and Krasnoarmeyskaya Streets. Here works on renewal of Severnaya Street-facing facades are being accomplished at the present time — buildings are faced with granite coatings, new fencing are installed and a paving slab is laid in accordance with new standards developed by the regional headquarters. Old street kiosks were uninstalled and copious mismatching advertisement materials were dismantled there as well.

— Charmless facade came out into the open after advertisement had been dismantled, so we also decided to put them to rights, — Vladimir Evlanov remarked.

Some variants of new stone and wood-faced or sandy fencings made of profiled metal have been already installed at this section of Severnaya Street. Depending on used materials cost of one linear meter runs from 5 to 12 thousand roubles.

Dzhambulat Khatuov emphasized that this is just test variants. Eventually several samples for historical part of the city, new housing developments and suburbs will be confirmed.

Alexander Tkachev observed new fencing variants and asked passers-by what color for the city streets they prefer mostly. Consequently he gave order to work out some new variants.

New fencings in Krasnodar are being developed with regard to Sochi experience within the framework of regional headquarters for Kuban capital development and territory improvement. Initially about 12,5 thousand linear meters of old fencings in central part of the city are to be renewed. And totally 70 thousand linear meters will be renewed all around the city.

It is to be reminded that during working tour around Krasnodar conducted on March 31, 2014 Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev gave Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov order to use «Olympic» experience of Sochi in the field of provision of urban amenities and to cope with illegal advertisement and trade more actively. Head of Region declared creation of the regional headquarters for the development and land improvement of Krasnodar by the example of Sochi. Vice-Governor Dzhambulat Khatuov took over the leadership of a new structure.
