Participants of the car run “Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk – Sevastopol 2015” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War arrived in the capital of Kuban. Thematic action “Let’s defend our Great Victory” took place near the Eternal Light on Square of Memory of Heroes.

Feats of warriors and heroes, memory of citizens who participated in the reconstruction of destroyed Krasnodar are eternalized in monuments. In Kolosistyy village “The square of memory of heroes-tankers” is complemented with a newly restored tank.

Today ceremonial event took place in the capital of Kuban as part of traditional Day of Remembrance of Kornilov. It is coincided with the 97th anniversary of the day of Volunteer Army commander’s death. More than 3 thousand citizens came to honour memory of the victims of Civil War.

Battlefield generals, prominent historians, writers and representatives of local authorities gave a report on various periods of the Great Patriotic War to school boys and girls, students, cadets, pupils of military sports clubs.

Head of regional center visited the Great Patriotic War veteran Victor Vasilyevich Dmitrov and awarded him a jubilee medal “The 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945” approved by the Decree of the RF President.

Today a youth patriotic event dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of liberation of Krasnodar from Nazi invaders was held at Zhukov garden square.

Ceremonial event dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of liberation of Krasnodar from the German fascist invaders took place at the memorial to fascism’s victims. The ceremony of flowers and wreaths laying to the monument bottom was participated by Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev and Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov.

Round table discussion chaired by Deputy Head of Krasnodar Natalia Makhanko was held in administration of the capital of Kuban. This was dedicated to delivering of events in honor of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Charitable action organized by Belarusian initiative group “We remember everything” took place in Park “30th anniversary of Victory”. Volunteers from Krasnodar and Belarus restored 28 units of military equipment installed here. Deputy Head of Krasnodar Sergey Vasin accepted the work.

In the course of live program on TV-channel “Krasnodar plus” Kuban capital Head said about necessity of working out of Krasnodar urban districts boundaries changing and possibility to found the fifth district within historical center of Krasnodar.
