Charitable action organized by Belarusian initiative group “We remember everything” took place in Park “30th anniversary of Victory”. Volunteers from Krasnodar and Belarus restored 28 units of military equipment installed here. Deputy Head of Krasnodar Sergey Vasin accepted the work.
— Citizens are grateful to initiative group “We remember everything” from Belarus as well as dozens of Krasnodar volunteers for carried out work on military equipment restoring. Today tanks and SP weapons, guns and howitzers of II World War look as good as new ones, — Deputy Head of the city Sergey Vasin said.
During three month restoration old coats of paint were removed from equipment and its metal was faced with a special shielding solvent. A new coat of paint was applied in several layers by up-to-date technologies. Volunteers used services of military archives in order for colour grade of applied paints to be in exact congruence with colouristics of last mid-century. The project executive Alexander Boiko from Belarus said that totally more than 50 persons participated in the work.
Similar actions on military equipment restoration were also organized in Minsk, Kubinka (Moscow Region), Moscow and other cities of Russia and Belarus.
