Today the opening of traditional, the seventh by turn, Forum “Krasnodar is a business-friendly city” took place in Kuban Expocentre to the address Zipovskaya Street 5. Entrepreneurs of Krasnodar and Region were welcomed by Head of the capital of Kuban Vladimir Evlanov.

Participants of the car run “Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk – Sevastopol 2015” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War arrived in the capital of Kuban. Thematic action “Let’s defend our Great Victory” took place near the Eternal Light on Square of Memory of Heroes.

Today dozens of thousand of citizens took part in a patriotic parade with portraits of Victory soldiers. “The Immortal Regiment” action was organized in Kuban capital in honour of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.

On the threshold of the 70th anniversary of the Victory Day delegation from the capital of Kuban consisting of Krasnodar administration representatives and a group of specialists of the city polyclinics visited Leninskiy district of the Crimean Republic.

Feats of warriors and heroes, memory of citizens who participated in the reconstruction of destroyed Krasnodar are eternalized in monuments. In Kolosistyy village “The square of memory of heroes-tankers” is complemented with a newly restored tank.

Today Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov and Chairwoman of the City Duma Vera Galushko opened renewed fountains and had a look at recreated sculpture composition “An Indian boy on an elephant and crocodiles” installed in the square.

Today more than 52 thousand people participated in the demonstration that went along Krasnaya Street. This year traditional May Day demonstration is devoted to one of the most significant dates in Russia’s history – the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. The parade was led by temporarily acting as Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov.

Government of Russia awarded a commendation to Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov for active participation in assuring the proper operation of housing and utilities infrastructure and social sphere of the Republic of Crimea.

Amendments approved the new model of municipal elections in relation to the city Head and deputies of the City Duma.

Today’s evening there was a launching of the main city fountains in the capital of Kuban. Multigenre theatrical performances went as part of opening ceremony. The first fountains started working at 19.00. The main plane fountain situated on Theatre Square was put into operation lastly – on 20.00.
