Delegation from Krasnodar congratulated Crimean veterans

On the threshold of the 70th anniversary of the Victory Day delegation from the capital of Kuban consisting of Krasnodar administration representatives and a group of specialists of the city polyclinics visited Leninskiy district of the Crimean Republic.

— Prior to celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Soviet people’s Victory in the Great Patriotic War our delegation has brought to Crimea gifts and care packages for battle-front veterans. At the meeting with veterans held in House of Culture of Shchelkino City the war participants received 9 May greeting cards on behalf of all Krasnodar citizens. Some of veterans were visited by members of Krasnodar’s delegation at home, — one in the department of economic development, investments and external affairs commented.

A special attention was paid to veterans by medical workers arrived from Krasnodar city polyclinics: general practitioners, neurologists, ophthalmologists, traumatic surgeons, urologists, otolaryngologists and other specialists. They carried out a scrutinous physical examination of veterans, did prophylactic and diagnostic treatment procedures. Totally over 90 veterans were examined. Medical guidelines for the following doctor’s care were provided to the municipal polyclinic of Shchelkino.

It is to be recalled that beginning from the past year Kuban capital renders aid to Leninskiy district of the Crimea Peninsula — Shchelkino and Mysovskoy village council. Back in the day Krasnodar citizens directed humanitarian aid — toys, office supplies, appliances and equipment for kindergartens. The district’s libraries received hundreds printed publications; Crimeans were assisted in reconditioning of boiler-houses and heating networks; schools were put to rights and territories were prepared to a heating season.

Overall material aid and services rendered by Krasnodar to Leninskiy district of the Republic of Crimea accounted to more than 43 million roubles.

Mayor of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov was awarded a commendation of the Russian Federation government for active participation in ensuring the proper functioning of public utility and social sphere of the Republic of Crimea.
