Today the opening of traditional, the seventh by turn, Forum “Krasnodar is a business-friendly city” took place in Kuban Expocentre to the address Zipovskaya Street 5. Entrepreneurs of Krasnodar and Region were welcomed by Head of the capital of Kuban Vladimir Evlanov.
— It is important and right that this year the Forum gives priority to practical aspects and training of entrepreneurs. Now more than ever small and medium-sized businesses need to develop, move onward and use the opportunities of import substitution. The time offers new challenges but also gives opportunities that have to be taken by us. We are leaders in Russia in development of small and medium-sized businesses. It is the backbone of economy, and under any circumstances we are not to lose ground, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
The opening ceremony of the Forum “Krasnodar is a business-friendly city” was also participated by Minister of Economic Affairs of Krasnodar Region Igor Galas, Chairman of Krasnodar regional division of non-governmental organization “OPORA Russia” Daniel Bashmakov.
On May 21 and 22 at the Forum there will be 5 conferences, 7 workshops and seminars, 4 masterclasses and a roundtable discussion. An expositional part of the Forum presents almost the whole infrastructure of small business support: 18 consultative tables of municipal, regional and federal organizations, banks, lease finance providers, technoparks, commercial real estate, franchising, innovative enterprises and many others. In one place entrepreneurs can take ideas for creation of business and its development as well as get information of all available supportive measures.
Today Vladimir Evlanov takes part in a plenary meeting on “The capacity of import submission and government support: business view” and tells about forms and means of support for small and medium-sized enterprises in Krasnodar.
Presently about 70 thousand small and medium-sized business entities work in Krasnodar. It is the fourth part of the total of entities in Krasnodar Region. Almost half of the whole turnover in key branches of the city economy falls to the share of small enterprises.
43% of the city population is occupied in small and medium-sized businesses.
Over 10 years the number of small and medium-sized enterprises of Krasnodar has risen from 38 to 70 thousand entities, people occupied in them — from 155 ths to 255 ths, turnover — from 294 bln roubles to 667 bln roubles.
