In Catherine's garden square Head of Krasnodar together with numerous citizens and guests of Kuban capital gave start to festive events dedicated to the 222nd anniversary of the city foundation.
Head of Krasnodar and Chairwoman of municipal Duma Vera Galushko welcomed official delegations that arrived in Krasnodar to celebrate its 222nd birthday.
On 27th September at 5 p.m. main festive events will take place on Theatre Square to celebrate the Youth City Day “Literary Krasnodar. Volume 2”
During today’s 72nd session of Krasnodar City Duma deputies approved draft local budget for 2015 and planning period 2016 and 2017. The budget income in the next year is supposed to be in the amount of 20,1 billion roubles. The session was participated by Head of the capital of Kuban Vladimir Evlanov.
Traditionally “Yekaterinodar Maidan” festival was held in the second day of City Day celebrations in Yubileinyy microdistrict on Kuban River bank. The festival guests were congratulated by Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov and Chairwoman of City Duma Vera Galushko from the scene.
Today Head of Krasnodar observed the development and land improvement works at residential complex “Europea”, also talked with its residents and estimated the progress of construction of new roads within the microdistrict.
Today, on City Day, Head of regional center visited Peoples’ Friendship garden square where the second stage of reconstruction has been completed and also improved green area close to Music theatre.
Traditionally the first day of celebrations dedicated to the city foundation anniversary ended with festive gala concert at Theatre Square. From the scene Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov and Krasnodar City Duma Chairwoman Vera Galushko congratulated citizens and guests of Kuban capital.

Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov, Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko, representatives of foreign delegations and Krasnodar citizens gathered today at Theatre Square to attend the ceremony of flag raising in honour of Kuban capital birthday. That ceremony was conducted on City Day the first time ever.
