Vladimir Evlanov took a look at two reconstructed garden squares of Krasnodar

Today, on City Day, Head of regional center visited Peoples’ Friendship garden square where the second stage of reconstruction has been completed and also improved green area close to Music theatre.

— Significant amount of work has been fulfilled at Peoples’ Friendship garden square: specialists installed new children gaming equipment, created an extreme-ground, constructed new plane fountain, laid new paving slab and tuned street lighting. The square has fully changed, — Vladimir Evlanov remarked.

Vladimir Evlanov together with Vice-Mayor Evgeny Pervyshov and Director of the department of communal services Konstantin Semernin went for a walk around the square, talked with people and estimated the volume of work done.

At extreme-ground Vladimir Evlanov had a talk with boys who from the early morning have amused themselves with skateboarding and bicycling.

— I see you like this place, you pass here your leisure time with pleasure and I’d like to ask you to maintain order, not to damage lawn and the ground itself, — Vladimir Evlanov addressed boys.  

Walking around the square citizens inquired Head of the city whether composition “boy on an elephant” will be returned to the square and when. Vladimir Evlanov assured that reconstructed sculpture composition will be certainly returned to the square as planned.

— We have to think it over the sculpture to be most functional one, in order all people could make a photo on it and children climb it safely, — Vladimir Evlanov said.   

Head of Krasnodar walked though the square, looked at the territory around and particularly at Oktyabrskaya Street where new paving slab has been already laid, Mira Street with a new public transport stop and repaired edging fence along the garden square.

Then Vladimir Evlanov examined newly developed square close to Music theatre. The territory is developed by the decision of regional headquarters for the development and urban land improvement of Krasnodar.

Eight street lamps manufactured at Kaslinsk factory of architectural-ornamental casting have been installed here, pedestrians footpaths made, ornamental plants set and lawns created.

Benches, litter boxes and other elements of land improvement are installed within the square. Besides of that one has drilled a borehole for self-sufficient system of automated watering of green planting and plant care works fulfilling.

Vladimir Evlanov ordered that the garden square fencing to be carefully designed to prevent car parking on new paving slab and to install security cameras in new square garden.

— The territory has completely changed. I’m sure Krasnodar citizens will duly appreciate the City Day gift, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
