Over 53 thousand people participated in festive demonstration in Krasnaya Street. May Day march was led by Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov.
One of the most solemn and numerous night liturgies took place in St. Catherine Cathedral – cathedral temple of Yekaterinodar‘s eparchy. Divine Liturgy was led by metropolitan of Yekaterinodar and Kuban Isidore. Side by side with church-goers Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov were present at all-night vigil.
The opening of New Year children’s matinees will take place on Theater Square near to Christmas-tree on 19 December at 12.00. This will begin with a magnificent performance “The snow tumult” or “Fairy story of snowmen”. Children performances will be held daily until 10 January 2016.

New Year theatrical performance “Krasnodar meets the coming year” took place on the main city square. 13 thousand citizens viewed the show. The concert and fireworks created a festive mood of people who came to the square.
Today several topical grounds opened in Chistyakovskaya grove. At the opening of festival citizens were congratulated by Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko.
Today a meeting and concert dedicated to 24th anniversary of enactment of Declaration on state sovereignty of the Russian Federation took place at Pushkin Square in Krasnodar. More than 10 thousand Krasnodar citizens and the city guests attended the event.
