Last weekend Krasnodar delegation headed by Mayor of the capital of Kuban and Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma took part in celebrations of the 300th anniversary of the foundation of Karlsruhe (Germany). During official reception held in Karlsruhe’s city hall in his speech Vladimir Evlanov congratulated citizens on behalf of all delegations from sister cities.
Final theatrical performance called “Lets meet New Year together with dances, humour and songs” was presented by culture centers of Central urban district. This was the last New Year show in the range of festive events held on the main square of Krasnodar.
Theatre Square skating rink started working on the last day of previous year. Over two thousand children and adults went skating for recent three days.
On January 2 a big colourful performance on the main square of the city prepared by creative collectives of Western urban district of Krasnodar opened a range of municipal New Year shows for children.
Traditionally “Yekaterinodar Maidan” festival was held in the second day of City Day celebrations in Yubileinyy microdistrict on Kuban River bank. The festival guests were congratulated by Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov and Chairwoman of City Duma Vera Galushko from the scene.
Traditionally the first day of celebrations dedicated to the city foundation anniversary ended with festive gala concert at Theatre Square. From the scene Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov and Krasnodar City Duma Chairwoman Vera Galushko congratulated citizens and guests of Kuban capital.
In the morning at Catherine garden square Vladimir Evlanov together with numerous citizens and guests of Kuban capital gave start to festive events dedicated to 221st anniversary of the city foundation.
Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov, Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko, representatives of foreign delegations and Krasnodar citizens gathered today at Theatre Square to attend the ceremony of flag raising in honour of Kuban capital birthday. That ceremony was conducted on City Day the first time ever.
Gala concert will take place at Theatre Square on September 27.
Today several topical grounds opened in Chistyakovskaya grove. At the opening of festival citizens were congratulated by Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko.
