Beginning from November 21 volunteers are being selected to work in Krasnodar during the FIFA World Cup 2018.

A draft amendment to the City General Plan has been submitted to the public hearing. The corresponding decree was signed by the Mayor of the capital of Kuban Evgeny Pervyshov.

The meeting of the regional organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the Football World Cup 2018 was held through videoconference in the capital of Kuban. Participants discussed the state of preparedness of sports, transport and hotel infrastructure for the FIFA World Cup in the cities where the participating national teams would accommodate and train: Sochi, Krasnodar, Gelendzhik and Anapa.

Prospects for the development of rail transport within the borders of Krasnodar as well as between the capital of Kuban and neighboring towns and districts were discussed by the Mayor of the regional centre Evgeny Pervyshov and deputy chief of the North Caucasian Railway of the Krasnodar territorial administration Mikhail Scherbakov during a working tour to the construction site of the Krasnodar railway detour.

The results of the repair of regional and municipal roads were summed up today at the regional video conference held by Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev. The progress of road works in Krasnodar this year was reported by Evgeny Pervyshov. He underlined that the repair of 46 sections of roads under the federal project "Safe and qualitative roads" had already been completed.

The holiday rally and the concert program with participation of the leading creative groups have traditionally taken place on Pushkin Square. The Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev congratulated the city's residents and guests on a public holiday.
