Cultural event will be held on September 22 at the square in front of the building of Krasnodar Region Legislative Assembly as part of celebrations dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the city foundation. An open-air stage will be organized at the square. Everyone is welcome to see performances of the festival participants.
In Catherine garden square the Mayor of Krasnodar together with the residents and guests of the capital of Kuban gave a start to the celebration of the 224 anniversary of the founding of the city.
This morning the Mayor of Krasnodar and Chairwoman of the City Duma Vera Galushko greeted official foreign delegations that had come to celebrate the 224th anniversary of the founding of Yekaterinodar-Krasnodar.
Krasnodar hosted the second annual award ceremony in event industry “The SFD Event 2016”. The department of youth affairs of Krasnodar administration and “Kuban Event” Company with their project “Shots of our beloved city” won the prize “The best event of the Southern Federal District”.
Every year the festival is held on the second day of City Day celebrations on the bank of Kuban River in Yubileynyy microdistrict. From the stage Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov and Chairwoman of City Duma Vera Galushko congratulated all people who came.
In the course of solemn ceremony dedicated to City Day the most merited citizens were awarded with Honourable Citizen of Krasnodar badges, “For Merits” commemorative medals and Krasnodar City administration’s and Duma’s certificates of appreciation.
Today’s morning Head of Krasnodar and Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko welcomed seven official delegations that arrived in the city to celebrate the 223rd anniversary of Krasnodar (former Yekaterinodar) foundation.
On September 24 and 25 Krasnodar’s streets, the city gardens and squares will turn to concert and creative venues where dozens festive events dedicated to the 223rd anniversary of Kuban capital foundation will take place.
Festive events dedicated to the 223rd anniversary of the capital of Kuban will be held on 24 and 25 September. They will involve leading creative collectives and singers of Krasnodar. Preparations for the festivities were discussed during today’s working session in Krasnodar administration led by acting Head of Krasnodar Alexander Mikheev.
In the midst of celebratory events in honor of Krasnodar’s birthday a laying of the Alley of sister cities took place in the Victory Park today. The trees were planted by representatives of sister cities from Karlsruhe, Harbin, Yerevan, and Sukhumi who came to Krasnodar to celebrate the City Day this year.
