Krasnodar hosted the second annual award ceremony in event industry “The SFD Event 2016”. The department of youth affairs of Krasnodar administration and “Kuban Event” Company with their project “Shots of our beloved city” won the prize “The best event of the Southern Federal District”.
— We are pleased that we were able to create the holiday atmosphere which was estimated properly not only by citizens of the city but also the expert jury. On City Day 25 September 2016 in the main street of Krasnodar there was a youth mass costumed cinema parade of students of the city universities “Shots of our beloved city” that was dedicated to the 223rd anniversary of Krasnodar foundation and Year of cinema. Morning exercises programme “Become a screen star” and the parade gave a good start to evening festive youth programme on Theater Square, — Chief of the department of youth of Krasnodar Georgy Pronkin commented.
According to organizers, 120 applications from 8 regions were made to take part in the award.
It is to be recalled that the youth festive programme dedicated to the 223rd anniversary of Krasnodar was held on the second day of City Day celebrations — 25 September 2016.
Over 100 thousands citizens participated in the festive programme. Domestic cinema became the festival’s topic. The column of cinema parade participants was decorated with art-objects, customized automobiles. It concluded representatives of the city motorcycle clubs (bikers), cyclists, skaters, drummers and life-size puppets.
