From August 5 to 30, 2019, students of higher education institutions from sister cities and partners of Krasnodar do an internship at three foreign-owned enterprises — Cargill, Nestle Kuban and a branch of KNAUF-GYPSUM. This youth exchange started last year, when students from Harbin, Karlsruhe and Nancy for the first time have done an internship in the offices of the regional center companies. On August 8, Chairwoman of the City Duma Vera Galushko and Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar Artem Doronin held an official reception of the foreign delegation.

On the opening day of the Russian investment forum in Sochi the Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev acquainted with the Krasnodar Region exposition. This year, all regional projects are divided into economic zones in accordance with the Strategy of socio-economic development of Krasnodar Region until 2030.

On February 12, 1943, Soviet troops dislodged the Hitler's occupiers from the capital of Kuban. Traditionally, a series of events dedicated to the memorable date was opened with a ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers, which was held on the square in front of the memorial "Victims of fascism" in Chistyakov grove. More than 5,5 thousand citizens took part in it. The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Region Yuri Burlachko, Vice-Governor of Kuban Alexey Kopaigorodsky, the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov took part in the ceremony.

A solemn meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Soviet army withdrawal from Afghanistan and the Day of memory of the Russians who performed their duties outside the Fatherland, was held at the Palace of Arts "Premiere" on February 8. It was attended by the first Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar Sergey Vasin and Deputy Chairman of the City Duma Vladimir Nedilko.

Repair of roads in Krasnodar and work in the housing sector were discussed at the summing-up meeting held by the Chairman of the Russian Public Chamber Igor Shpektor and first Vice-Governor of Kuban Andrey Alekseenko. The Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov also participated in the session.

Currently, work is underway to design 5 schools for 4950 places and 6 kindergartens for 1130 places in different microdistricts of the city and suburbs. The projects of all social facilities will be ready in 2019. This is necessary to include the construction of these schools and kindergartens in Federal and regional programs.

The official opening ceremony of the regional military-patriotic month, which was held on January 23 in the Park of the 30th Anniversary of Victory on the square in front of the Military Glory exhibition hall was attended by 7,5 thousand citizens. In 2019, the patriotic action is held under the motto "Military duty — honor and destiny!".

Citizens had an opportunity to immerse in water at specially prepared places of ablution in the evening of January 18, and also during the day on January 19. One of the most popular fonts — on the Kuban River near the Church of Holy Nativity — was open until 16:00. In total, 7 large bathing places were arranged in the city.

The new green zone with an area of 4,5 hectares and a length of 461 m was created within the framework of the priority federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" for 4 months. Over this time, a full cycle of works from the preparation of the construction site to landscaping was carried out. The park opening ceremony was attended by the Governor of Krasnodar Region Veniamin Kondratiev, the Mayor of the city Evgeny Pervyshov, Chairwoman of the Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko.

One of the most numerous divine services took place in St.Catherine Cathedral. The worship service was carried out by Metropolitan of Yekaterinodar and Kuban Isidore. The Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev and the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov together with parishioners kept vigil at night.
