Repair of roads in Krasnodar and work in the housing sector were discussed at the summing-up meeting held by the Chairman of the Russian Public Chamber Igor Shpektor and first Vice-Governor of Kuban Andrey Alekseenko. The Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov also participated in the session.
— The capital of Kuban successfully implements Federal programs and projects — "Formation of a comfortable urban environment", "Safe and high-quality roads." They help to improve and landscape territories, repair the street and road network. This great work is seen and appreciated by the residents. "Together with the Ministry of Transport and with the support of the Governor of Kuban we continue the major overhaul of arterial streets under regional program," said Evgeny Pervyshov.
As Evgeny Pervyshov added, the best practices of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation will help to effectively implement Federal programs and projects in Krasnodar.
Over two years 175 km of roads have been repaired and 48% of the street-road network brought to the normative state through the Federal project. Moving forward, it is necessary to improve this indicators.
According to Andrey Alekseenko, a new laboratory is used to check the overhaul of roads of the region. It evaluates the quality of repair in line with international standards. He also noted that the maintenance of public roads in the region are fulfilled by 14 state enterprises, not private ones.
