The Krasnodar agglomeration is presented at the Forum in Sochi

On the opening day of the Russian investment forum in Sochi the Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev acquainted with the Krasnodar Region exposition. The creation of a multimodal transport hub is among the priority projects of the Krasnodar agglomeration. It includes the construction of a new airport complex, reconstruction of existing utilities, creation of commercial infrastructure — industrial and warehouse complexes.

The project provides for a ten-year implementation period, the planned amount of investment is more than 99 billion rubles. Krasnodar airport will be able to take up to 8 million passengers a year. The project with all related infrastructure will create more than 40 thousand jobs. The project's initiator and investor is Basel Aero LLC.

At the Forum Krasnodar focuses on attracting high-tech companies for introduction of the "Smart city" technologies and services. The Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov noted that the level of participation in the Forum is not measured by the number of projects and virtual billion rubles for their implementation. The main goal is to attract investors to implement modern solutions that will help make Krasnodar more convenient and comfortable for life.
