At May-end the Russian independent research company “Medialogy” drew up a rating of mayors of Southern Federal District administrative centers in respect to citedness in mass media. Once again Krasnodar Head took the first position well ahead of the second one.
Media rating of May is posted at the official web-site of “Medialogy”. Mayors were ranked on the basis of so called weight of media indexes. Having media index weight – 4869,50 points, Vladimir Evlanov leads in the rating at May-end. The result is nearly by 8 times greater than media index weight of Rostov-On-Don mayor Mikhail Chernyshev who ranked second with 616,18 points.
As it is stated at web-site “Medialogy”, in May name of Vladimir Evlanov was most frequently mentioned in mass media resources with reference of possible returning the city its historical name Yekaterinodar.
The third place of this media rating was taken by Head of Volgograd Irina Guseva with 287,19 points.
It is to be recalled that Vladimir Evlanov took the lead of “Medialogy” company media rating for 2013. Head of Krasnodar topped the rating at end of eight months of the past year.
Kuban capital Head keeps leading position in the rating in 2014. Due to “Medialogy” monitoring Vladimir Evlanov took the first place in January, February, March and April of this year.
Media rating of first executives of capital cities in Southern Federal District is made by the Russian independent research company “Medialogy”. It is made monthly on the basis of “Medialogy” system of mass media database monitoring. The database consists of 17600 the most influential resources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, informational agencies, Internet resources. Final media rating is drawn up at the end of every year.
When drawing up the rating “Medialogy” specialists consider the frequency and context of mentioning of Southern Federal District capital cities mayors in mass media materials, their role in a massage (the main or secondary), occurrence of direct and indirect speech related to a person, and other factors.
