For the third consecutive year Head of Kuban capital takes the first place in the rating of citedness and context of mentioning in mass media among Mayors of administrative centers of SFD regions. The rating is made by independent Russian research company Medialogy. Vladimir Evlanov took the lead almost in all intermediate monthly ratings of Medialogy in the past year thus ensuring the first place in overall rankings of 2015.
2015 final media rating is posted on the official web-site of Medialogy. In the list Mayors are ranked in accordance with so called media index.
Following the results of previous year Vladimir Evlanov leads with media index – 23903,89 (25185,44 in 2014) that is almost two times greater than the indicator of Rostov-on-Don Head Sergey Gorban who goes second (12768,37). Head of Maikop Alexander Narolin is third (5300,83).
It is to be recalled that Krasnodar’s Head led the rating in January 2015 and kept leading position in the first half of the year taking first place in February, March, April, May and June. He was ranked second in July and became leader in August, September, October and November again.
The authors of the rating remark that during 2015 mass media highlighted a range of events participated by Vladimir Evlanov. In particular, in April 2015 Vladimir Evlanov made annual report at the extended session of Krasnodar City Duma where he focused attention on the creation of comfortable urban environment.
In the end of September on the results of the competitive selection Vladimir Evlanov was elected Head of Krasnodar for the third term.
In the beginning of December at the working meeting Vladimir Evlanov presented new structure of Krasnodar City administration.
Head of Krasnodar tops final annual Medialogy rating for the third year in a row. In the past year Vladimir Evlanov kept leading position throughout all 12 months.
In 2013 he was first in eight months and topped the final media rating as well.
Media rating of Mayors of SFD constituent entities is monthly made by independent Russian research company Medialogy on the basis of Medialogy mass media database that includes 30100 most influential resources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, informational agencies and online media.
When ranking Mayors of capital cities of SFD constituent entities, frequency and the context of their citation in media, role in information material (major or secondary), presence of direct or indirect speech related to the person and other factors are considered.
