The solo exhibition of British watercolourist Andrew Lucas in Russia opens for the first time. Before the start of exhibition, the first Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar Vitaliy Kosenko met with the author of the paintings in Krasnodar City Hall.

From August 5 to 30, 2019, students of higher education institutions from sister cities and partners of Krasnodar do an internship at three foreign-owned enterprises — Cargill, Nestle Kuban and a branch of KNAUF-GYPSUM. This youth exchange started last year, when students from Harbin, Karlsruhe and Nancy for the first time have done an internship in the offices of the regional center companies. On August 8, Chairwoman of the City Duma Vera Galushko and Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar Artem Doronin held an official reception of the foreign delegation.

On the day of opening of the exhibition devoted to Japanese culture, the Krasnodar City Hall held an official reception of the Plenipotentiary Minister of the Embassy of Japan in Moscow, Chief of the department for relations with the parliament, the group of international cooperation Isidze Motoyuki.

The Mayor of regional centre Evgeny Pervyshov held an official meeting with a delegation of the city of Kocaeli (the Republic of Turkey). The parties discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic sphere, as well as the possibility of establishing sister cities relations.

The official entry into force of the tripartite Treaty between Krasnodar, Karlsruhe (Germany) and Nancy (France) took place in the municipal hall. The sister-city Agreement between Krasnodar and Nancy was also enacted. The ceremony was participated by the Mayors Evgeny Pervyshov, Frank Mentrup and Laurent Hénart.

Mobile multimedia exhibition "New trends in power industry and energy efficiency in Germany" opened on September 22 as part of celebration of Krasnodar City Day in Krasnodar Historical and Archaeological Museum of E.D.Felitsyn. The exhibition will acquaint citizens of Krasnodar with the experience of implementing energy-saving technologies in Germany.

Event dedicated to the closing of the Year of Russian-German regional and municipal partnerships was held in Berlin. At the ceremony of summing up the Year the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov and the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Heiko Maas handed the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov honorary diploma for a significant contribution to the development of regional-municipal cooperation between Russia and Germany.

Cultural event will be held on September 22 at the square in front of the building of Krasnodar Region Legislative Assembly as part of celebrations dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the city foundation. An open-air stage will be organized at the square. Everyone is welcome to see performances of the festival participants.

The possibility of the forums implementation were discussed at an official meeting between the Mayor of the city Evgeny Pervyshov and the Consul General of the Republic of Cyprus in Krasnodar Elias Mavrokefalos. During the conversation the Mayor noted that the joint work of the administration and the Consulate will benefit the citizens of Krasnodar and residents of Cyprus.

Reception of the student delegation of the University of Applied Sciences of the sister city Karlsruhe (Germany) — the participants of "The Kuban State University summer school of Russian language" was held on August 22 in Krasnodar City Hall. It was led by Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar Liliana Yegorova.
