The share of payments with Mir bank cards in urban public transport increased from 1.8% to 12.6%. This is the result of the joint action of "Kuban Electronic Ticket", the Krasnodar tram and trolleybus directorate and the National payment cards system. From September 1 to the end of 2019, passengers received a discount of 4 rubles when paying for travel with Mir cards in municipal buses, trolleybuses and trams.

Prospects of cooperation were discussed at the working meeting of the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov, chief economist-expert of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation Olga Polikarpova and representative of the BRICS New Development Bank Charlie Tian.

The Mayor of Krasnodar said about it during a joint press conference with PJSC Sberbank, Mir payment system and LLC E-ticket Kuban. The event was devoted to questions of contactless fare payment system introduction in public transport of Krasnodar, the implementation of joint loyalty programs and discussion of plans for the development of non-cash payments infrastructure in the region.
