The share of payments with Mir bank cards in urban public transport increased from 1.8% to 12.6%. This is the result of the joint action of "Kuban Electronic Ticket", the Krasnodar tram and trolleybus directorate and the National payment cards system. From September 1 to the end of 2019, passengers received a discount of 4 rubles when paying for travel with Mir cards in municipal buses, trolleybuses and trams.
The Mayor of Krasnodar said about it during a joint press conference with PJSC Sberbank, Mir payment system and LLC E-ticket Kuban. The event was devoted to questions of contactless fare payment system introduction in public transport of Krasnodar, the implementation of joint loyalty programs and discussion of plans for the development of non-cash payments infrastructure in the region.
At the working meeting in the city administration, which was chaired by the Mayor of the regional center Evgeny Pervyshov, participants summed up the financial results of 2017. They discussed the implementation of the plan of income mobilization in the local budget and the consolidated budget of Krasnodar Region.
At the 46th special extraordinary session of the City Duma on December 26, parliamentarians approved the changes to the budget of the current year, adjusting its income and expenditure. For the first time in the last few years the capital of Kuban completes 2017 with a balanced budget and minimal deficit.
