At the 46th special extraordinary session of the City Duma on December 26, parliamentarians approved the changes to the budget of the current year, adjusting its income and expenditure. For the first time in the last few years the capital of Kuban completes 2017 with a balanced budget and minimal deficit.
"By the end of the year we have reached a balanced budget. This is extremely important for the future development of the city, the plans that we have outlined together with the citizens. At the beginning of the year we had fears due to the large deficit, payables of 3.5 billion rubles. But the measures taken to optimize and reduce costs, search for additional sources of replenishment of the city treasury, joint work in this regard with the administration of Krasnodar Region, federal ministries and business gave the result. The amount of debt due to common efforts has reached a minimum level in the last few years. We have managed to stabilize and balance the budget," said Evgeny Pervyshov.
The Mayor of Krasnodar thanked the deputy corps and the financial block of the city administration for the work done, due to which it was possible to achieve these results and completely repay the accounts payable of the previous years, which in January 2017 amounted to 3.5 billion rubles.
