Today traditional rally and ceremony of laying flowers to Memorial "To the victims of fascism" took place in Chistyakovskaya Grove of Krasnodar. Thousands of citizens, including Head of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov and Chairwoman of City Duma Vera Galushko came to pay the tribute to the memory of died people in years of the Great Patriotic War.
In the course of solemn ceremony dedicated to City Day the most merited citizens were awarded with Honourable Citizen of Krasnodar badges, “For Merits” commemorative medals and Krasnodar City administration’s and Duma’s certificates of appreciation.
Solemn event dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the North Caucasus Zonal Research Institute for Horticulture and Vine-growing was held in the capital of Kuban today. Acting Head of Krasnodar Alexander Mikheev came to congratulate the staff of the institute.

The citizens were addressed by Metropolitan Isidore of Yekaterinodar and Kuban, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, Vice-Governors, ataman of Kuban Cossacks Army Nikolay Doluda and Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov.
Today memorial sign in honor of famous Kuban poet, Honorary Citizen of Krasnodar Semen Khokhlov was opened in the capital of Kuban. Bas-relief is placed at the house to the address Gogolya Street, 23 where the merited citizen lived.
Today in the capital of Kuban at the territory of “275th aircraft repair plant” there was a ceremonial evens dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the plant establishment. Deputy Chief of the department of Industrial Policy of Krasnodar Region administration Vladimir Mostovoy and Deputy Head of Krasnodar Alexander Mikheev congratulated the plant collective on the anniversary.
Over 10 thousand Krasnodar citizens jointed the All-Russian action dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War beginning day. From Theatre Square along Krasnaya Street citizens went to the Eternal Light situated on Memory of Heroes Square.
