Solemn event dedicated to the All-Russian holiday was held at the territory of the Holy Protection Temple. The citizens were addressed by Metropolitan Isidore of Yekaterinodar and Kuban, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, Vice-Governors, ataman of Kuban Cossacks Army Nikolay Doluda and Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov.
— Family, love and faithfulness are the basis for our people, region and the whole country. If we are keeping it in our hearts, then we will be not afraid of any ills of life, — Veniamin Kondratiev said.
The divine Liturgy led by Metropolitan Isidore of Yekaterinodar and Kuban took place in the Holy Protection Temple. Then on the fountain square in front of the temple all the citizens were congratulated on the All-Russian holiday. The day took particular significance in the capital of Kuban after opening the monument to the holy Peter and Fevronia of Murom three years ago.
— Once again the monument shows that the questions of family, upbringing the younger generation and creating favorable social climate in our city are among priority issues. Today members of the best Krasnodar’s families, families with many children, host families and those who have lived in love and harmony for many years gathered here. You are a good example to follow, especially for those who just start their family life and are going to have children. This is the gold family fund of our city! — Vladimir Evlanov told the gathered people.
As part of solemn event in the courtyard of the temple there was a ceremony of honoring 25 Krasnodar’s pairs who had been married for 50, 40 and 30 years. As a part of holiday Veniamin Kondratiev and Vladimir Evlanov presented them certificates and valuable gifts.
