Today the conference “Open Krasnodar. General plan of the city” started in Exhibition and Congress venue “Expograd Yug”. It is dedicated to elaboration of the main city construction document.
— Today we give start to a big and important work on correcting the General plan of Krasnodar, we do it openly and involving wide public and experts. In fact, we create a new document and all citizens have a stake in it. After the document will be deliberated by a wide public we order city construction General plan to be developed by design institute. We set task to create well-thought-out, balanced and efficient document which will define the main vector of development of Krasnodar for the following 20-25 years, — Vladimir Evlanov addressed to the audience.
The conference is participated by Deputy Head of Krasnodar Region administration Yuri Gritsenko, Chairman of the Committee on issues of industry, construction and housing services and utilities of regional Legislative Assembly Nikolay Denisov, chief of Krasnodar Region department of architecture and city construction Yuri Rysin, Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko, Vice-president of the Russian Union of Architects Victor Churilov, leading architects, experts, scientists, project designers as well as chiefs of big enterprises, mass media representatives and citizens of Krasnodar.
— Today we talk about future of Krasnodar, so there are no any strangers among the conference participants. Our meeting is attended by people who take the native city to heart and want to obtain the General plan that will surely enable civilized development of the capital of Kuban. Of course we have a number of problematic issues in the city and today we will talk of them in open microphone mode.
