This is 54 sections of street and road network of the city and suburban settlements. The works will be held within the framework of the national project "Safe and high-quality autoroads" of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation in 2019. The streets that will be included in the next year was discussed at the meeting chaired by the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov.
"Over two years, 157 km of the road network have been repaired under this project. These are the roads of 112 streets. And this is the result that is already visible to the citizens. It is important that the repair is comprehensive— not just individual sections in different parts of the city, but in fact — a comprehensive reconditioning of the main road network of Krasnodar. This year's work was organized qualitatively and in time. We began in the spring, the main part was done in the most favorable weather period. In 2019 it is necessary to work as well. We have a prominent amount of works to do next year, the road facilities are complex. We need in advance to develop the work schedule, to interspace the load on the road network," said Evgeny Pervyshev.
The Mayor of Krasnodar also added that special attention should be paid to monitoring how contractors fulfil safety requirements during the work.
At meeting participants remarked that the repair systematically proceeds both in the central part of the regional center, and suburban settlements. The over-bridge on Suvorova Street as well as six streets in the suburbs - Kolosisty and Industrialny settlements, Elizavetinskaya and Starokorsunskaya villages, Lenina hamlet will be reconditioned. The longest section planned for repair is more than 4.3 km. This is Golovatogo Street between the streets of Trubilina and Peredovaya.
The project of the RF Ministry of Transport is scheduled for 2019-2024. As before, financing of works will be provided from the Federal budget with the co-financing from regional and city budgets.
The repair of 66 road sections with a total length of more than 83 km was carried out in Krasnodar in 2018.
