Dmitry Medvedev examined Krasnodar’s stand at Forum in Sochi

Traditionally before the plenary session Prime Minister of the RF inspected exhibition pavilions of XIV International Investment Forum in Sochi. Particularly, Dmitry Medvedev commended the exposition of Krasnodar in Krasnodar Region’s pavilion.

Models of cities and districts of the region and investment projects of “Sochi-2015” Forum was presented to Chairman of the RF Government by Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev. At the stand of Krasnodar the RF Prime Minister and Head of Krasnodar Region examined architectural model of the capital of Kuban – model of perspective development of the city.

The model presents the existing development of Kuban capital, investment projects being under implementation and those which are going to be started as well as land parcels which may be provided for investors for integrated development.

— This year at the Forum it is planned to sign at least 24 agreements of intent in investment sphere for a total amount of over 66 billion roubles. They relate both to housing and industrial construction. At that, we certainly call upon the investors to fulfill the integrated development — it concerns engineering infrastructure and social facilities. In the past year only the city commissioned over 1,7 million square meters of housing. Today we take measures to turn the quantity into the quality, — Vladimir Evlanov said to Dmitry Medvedev.

By Kuban capital exhibition stand Dmitry Medvedev, Veniamin Kondratiev and Vladimir Evlanov also talked about the biggest investment projects which are to be signed during the Forum. One of them is an agreement with “Tander” CJSC on the creation of industrial park including food production and manufacturing outputs within an area of over 517 hectares.

Veniamin Kondratiev marked that the region and Krasnodar itself managed to pull high profile investors together — it is thanks largely to smart investment policy of regional and local authorities.

The authorities’ task is to create required and comfortable conditions for the business that is ready to invest into the region. Some projects entail other ones so it is important from day one to organize the process wisely, — Veniamin Kondratiev said.
