The implementation of the agreements signed in the period from 2016 to 2018 in the framework of investment forums in Sochi was discussed at a meeting in the city administration. It was held by the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov. For almost three years, 5 agreements have been fully implemented. And investments of enterprises of the regional centre in fixed assets exceeded 244 billion rubles.
"Our task is to improve the quality of preparation of investment agreements, select the most important ones for the development of the economy of Krasnodar and accompany their implementation. Now the share of investment contracts in housing construction has decreased to 50%, and projects in industry, transport and energy took more than 30%. It is the dynamics that we need to preserve, " said Evgeny Pervyshov.
Director of the department of economic development, investment and external relations Elena Vasilchenko stated that Krasnodar continues to hold a leading position in the region in attracting investments. The capital of Kuban attracts 30.7% of the total regional volume.
In general, since 2016, enterprises and organizations of Krasnodar have invested more than 240 billion rubles in fixed assets. Over the six months of 2018, more than 48 billion rubles have already been invested. This is almost 10 billion rubles more than in the same period last year.
Elena Vasilchenko also noted that among the agreements concluded in Sochi in 2016-2018, two investment contracts in the consumer sphere — for the construction of the wholesale trade center "Metro Cash and Carry" in the area of "OZ Mall" and the hypermarket "Lenta" in the Near Western detour — have been fully implemented. Since the beginning of 2016, 5 projects have been implemented. They resulted in creation new 1 300 jobs.
Other 28 investment projects, worth 72 billion rubles, signed at the forum in Sochi in 2016-2018 are being implemented now on the territory of Krasnodar. The largest one — the development of the airport complex "Pashkovsky". This project is being carried out by the company "Basel Aero" (11 billion rubles). The project aims to build a new modern airport complex of international level.
In total, 8 projects are implemented in the field of industry, energy, transport and communications, 12 in construction, 3 in agriculture and 2 in the consumer sphere.
Since 2017 in Krasnodar there is a project office for thorough support of all agreements and assistance to investors. It helps to solve issues arising in the process of the projects implementation.
