The memorial event will be held in the Kuban capital from January 18 to 27. The event launches the Year of memory and glory and is intended to remind of the courage and heroism of the residents of Leningrad who survived the siege of the city in the Great Patriotic War.

The city department for youth affairs organized more than 1 thousand events in 2018. In particular, for the first time Krasnodar hosted the international festival of street art "ShowYourFlow2018". Municipal camp "Dubrava" became the winner in one of the nominations of the regional stage of all-Russian competition for the organization of children's rest and recreation.

Electric substation 220 kV "Eastern industrial zone" was launched in the Kuban capital on November 21. It was built and put into operation by "Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System" (FGC UES). In Krasnodar, such a power facility was built "starting from scratch" and opened for the first time in the last 10 years, and in terms of capacity and equipment level it is the first substation of this class in the city. Its power is 560 megavolt-ampere (MVA).

The implementation of the agreements signed in the period from 2016 to 2018 in the framework of investment forums in Sochi was discussed at a meeting in the city administration. It was held by the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov. For almost three years, 5 agreements have been fully implemented. And investments of enterprises of the regional centre in fixed assets exceeded 244 billion rubles.

The project for the organization of a citywide bicycle rental network was presented at the meeting in the city administration. Lucky-sharing Ltd has experience of creation of similar service in Almetyevsk (Tatarstan). The Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov participated in the meeting.

The city Mayor told about the strategy development during the plenary session of the XII Interregional forum of the largest companies of the Southern Federal District, which takes place in Krasnodar.

The facility area is 9 thousand square meters, the volume of total investment in the construction exceeded 440 million rubles. This was reported by son of the company founder, supervisory board chairman Hans Peter Stihl at the opening ceremony, which was attended by Vice-Governor of Kuban Vasily Shvets, Deputy Chairman of Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Region Sergey Altukhov, Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov.

Traditionally, August 22 — on the Russian Federation Flag Day — the Theatre square of the Kuban capital held a rally and a ceremony of raising the flag on the flagpole. The event was attended by more than 6,5 thousand people. The Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko congratulated people on this holiday.

This was said by the Mayor of Krasnodar Evgeny Pervyshov at the meeting of the regional public urban council. The council session was chaired by the Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev. Also at the meeting, the group of architects under the leadership of Yuri Shcherbinin presented a draft layout of the central part of Krasnodar.

This was the result of the working trip of Krasnodar's Mayor in Moscow. Earlier the first Vice-Governor of Krasnodar Region Andrey Alekseenko announced an overriding decision of allocating from regional budget 3 billion rubles for Krasnodar to renew the rolling stock of the city public transport. As noted by Evgeny Pervyshov, the federal subsidy amounting to 30% of the cost of equipment will give the city much more opportunities for the development of public transport.
