Humanitarian cargo with presents sent from Krasnodar and other settlements of Krasnodar Region has arrived at a warehouse in Donetsk.
— Ukrainian children received first packs with sweets, food products and plush toys. On the way to a warehouse New Year humanitarian cargo convoy got lost and came across a school. There they decided to unload some hundreds packs. Due to mere luck New Year’s morning performances started in the school exactly on this day, — organizers of the New Year charity event said.
Totally about 36 thousand New Year presents for children came to Donbas from Krasnodar. The cargo was delivered to a special base where overall humanitarian aid for young citizens of South-East of Ukraine is stored. In the present moment volunteers and militants transport boxes with sweets and toys from Krasnodar Region to local schools and kindergartens.
As it was reported earlier, Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev suggested presenting a New Year fairy tale to children of Donetsk and Lugansk. The Governor’s initiative was supported all around the Region: all cities and districts opened points of the New Year humanitarian aid collection in local centers of social services.
The action was also supported by deputies of Krasnodar City Duma, — on December 25, 2014 on Theatre Square they loaded a car with plush and hi-tech toys, modern skill-development games purchased by themselves.
