Evgeny Pervyshov: Playing football with residents of Krasnodar makes one big team

The team of the city administration met with a team of Komsomolsky and Pashkovsky microdistricts. This is the first of a series of games that will take place over one and a half months in different areas of the regional center. Evgeny Pervyshov played as a central defender. After the match, the Mayor talked with the residents, discussed the topical issues of the microdistricts.

"The main idea is to create a tightly-knit team of the city authorities and residents of Krasnodar. Football, volleyball, mass races — all this unites us and breaks the conventions, promotes good dialogue. Today's match is evidence of it. Residents have raised a number of important urban topics that we will try together to solve it. And, of course, it is about popularization and development of sport, and this by itself is great. I regularly participate in races and other sporting events on equal terms with the residents," said Evgeny Pervyshov.

The match result was a win of Komsomolsky and Pashkovsky microdistricts' team with the score 7:2. Two sides agreed on the rematch.

After that they talked in an informal setting. In particular, they pointed out the reconstruction and providing sports grounds with modern equipment in residential areas, the greening of Komsomolsky microdistrict. The Mayor noted that regular and well-timed watering of planted trees and shrubs was organized not in all landscaped public areas of Krasnodar. In addition, Evgeny Pervyshov invited one of the players of the home team for a personal appointment for a detailed consideration of his question.

In late May the Mayor of Krasnodar took the initiative to hold a series of football matches with follow-up communication between the teams of administration and residents of the Kuban capital microdistricts, including suburban towns. The only condition for a match is to assemble a team of local people and to invite the team of the Mayor. This was written on a Facebook page by Krasnodar Mayor's assistant Vladimir Verbitskiy. For the first week on personal Facebook page he received more than 40 proposals. In particular, the teams of Komsomolsky and Pashkovsky microdistricts, Festival residential area, Gubernsky microdistrict and experimental training farm "Kuban" expressed their willingness to compete.
