Delegation from Karlsruhe, sister city of Kuban capital, visited stadium being under construction and football Academy of FC Krasnodar. Guests got acquainted with the progress of works and infrastructure of educational institution.
— Technical and architectural solutions of a new sports venue fascinate. The academy doesn’t yield to the best ones around the world. We are pleasantly surprised and see the noticeable progress to be in Kuban football in the closest future. There is no doubt that Krasnodar footballers will take part in the biggest tournaments. Tireless work on the body and spirit ensures the progress, — head of German delegation, first Burgomaster of Karlsruhe Wolfram Jäger said.
The event was also participated by first Deputy Head of Krasnodar Mikhail Frolov, Deputy Head Evgeny Pervyshov, Head of Prikubanskiy urban district administration Maxim Nechitailo, Chief of administrative department Victor Kudinov, first Vice-Chairman of Krasnodar City Duma Victor Timofeev, member of Krasnodar Region Legislative Assembly Batyrbiy Tutarishev, Deputy chief of Administrative Department, Chief of the Department of foreign relations and protocol of Krasnodar administration Boris Staroselskiy, Chief of the department of physical training and sports Andrey Danilov.
Members of German delegation attended stadium bowl being under construction, had a look at construction site and evaluated distinctive features of the project.
— The stadium construction has been started in spring 2013 and the opening football match here is to be played in October 2015. The process of works performed around the clock by up to 1200 constructors can be watched by anyone in online in Internet by means of web-cameras installed at column cranes. This object will meet the advanced requirements and be deigned only for football matches. The project has been developed by English and German companies. The venue meets all requirements for holding of international and national football matches, — construction director of the customer company OJSC “Investstroy” Nikolay Stashov said.
Football pitch of the stadium under construction is 105 to 68 meters in size; minimum size of natural grass surface is 113 to 72 meters.
Café, fan-club, fan store, museum, night club, several banqueting rooms, fitness studio, business clubs and a children room will be at the stadium territory. There will be an atrium with spiral staircase connecting all six floors of the stadium in western part of the object. Its capacity will be of 35 thousand seats. High technology screen with the total area of 3590 square meters as well as 422 press seats will be installed between stadium stand and roofing. All spectators seats will be under roof, number of so-called business-seats will amount for 5 thousand and another 500 seats will fall in deluxe category. All stadium stands will be fitted with systems of artificial heating and conditioning. Constructors promise to use natural stone travertine, transported from Italy, for decorative stone.
Football venue costs 12-13 bln roubles. As according to Nikolay Stashov its erection is financed solely by private investments.
Club executives plan to lay out a park, construct underground parking meant for 400 places and ground carpark for 2 thousand places near to stadium.
The stadium is situated in the neighbor of club Academy, in actively developing area of Krasnodar. About 7 thousand children aged from 6 to 12 are trainees of FC Krasnodar football school, 286 children aged from 12 to 17 continue the study at Academy. 110 coaches, 45 teachers and 20 tutors work here. Academy exists for two years.
