International drawing exhibition opens in the V.A.Ptashinskiy Children’s Art School

In the run-up to Krasnodar City Day celebrations in 2021, young artists from Krasnodar, Karlsruhe and Harbin had an opportunity to watch a greeting cards master class. Zhanna Ponomaryova, teacher at the V.A.Ptashinskiy Children’s Art School, explained how to create greeting cards on the 228th anniversary of Krasnodar city.

Being based on the video, students of the V.A.Ptashinskiy Children’s Art School, the Kant-Gymnasium Karlsruhe and the Harbin Palace of Young Pioneers made wonderful artworks, which became a part of the special art exhibition opened on November 24 in Krasnodar.

The collection includes 25 drawings depicting major sights of the cities, and expressing cultural traditions of Russia, China and Germany. Mr. Wan Lu, a teacher at the Harbin Palace of Young Pioneers, sent a video message of greetings to participants, organisers and guests of the exhibition.
