Kuban Governor Alexander Tkachev held a working meeting with Vladimir Evlanov wherein they discussed plans of Krasnodar road infrastructure development for this year.
— As I have repeatedly mentioned, after Olympiad overall experience obtained in Sochi will be aimed to the development of Krasnodar to make our regional capital more convenient, modern and good-looking. Over last seven years with attraction of government and private investments Sochi image has been strikingly changed — new roads, multi-level junctions and underground crosswalks appeared. Today we have the potential and good position for continuation of this work in Krasnodar. In the following years we are to attain a number of strategic objectives, first of all in sphere of road construction. This will cardinally change the situation of jam-ups on the main traffic arteries in regional center. This year we will proceed to some of them, — Alexander Tkachev said.
Also the meeting was participated by Kuban Vice-Governor Ivan Peronko, Minister for construction, architecture and road facilities of Krasnodar Region Valery Zhukov, chief architect of Krasnodar Region Yuri Rysin, first Deputy Head of Krasnodar Mikhail Frolov, vice-mayors of Krasnodar Eugeny Pervyshov and Alexander Mikheev.
Maintaining and development of regional center road fund became one of the main issues in talking of Kuban Governor and Krasnodar Head. Particularly, it was referred to post-winter pothole patching, complete overhauling of acting roads and a construction of new ones. Alexander Tkachev underlined strategic importance of these aspects for Kuban capital. During their discussion the main tasks up to the end of this year were defined and deadlines for already stipulated projects were specified.
Vladimir Evlanov stated that in the nearest time it is planned to make a contract with a contractor for reconditioning and construction of roads in Kuban capital for a total amount of nearly 2 bln rubles.
In his turn Valery Zhukov added that the list of streets where it is required to reconstruct roadway has been already drawn up together with the municipal authorities. In particular, complete reconditioning of Turgeneva Street in the section from bridge to Gagarina Street, Montazhnikov and Novorossiyskaya Streets is to be made in this year. Currently the project documentation for performance of works on these and other streets is being drafted.
Besides of that funding for reduced overhauling of road network has been provided for this year. Approximately 400 mln rubles will be spent for this purpose. Another 220 mln rubles will be allocated from regional budget for continuation of road construction on Vostochno-Kruglikovskaya Street which was started in the past year. Totally the city will receive about 2 bln rubles for the development of public road system — 1 bln through regional target program “Capital city image to Krasnodar” accepted at the initiative of Alexander Tkachev and 1 bln from regional road fund.
The construction of a new bridge across Kuban River from the side of Yablonovskiy township and construction of multilevel road junction at the intersection of Stavropolskaya and Starokubanskaya Streets were also discussed.
As Valery Zhukov said, three-level transport junction project development has come into a closing stage.
— The project was improved — configuration of the junction has been slightly altered. In May we send the project for examination and presumably up to August we get a conclusion of examination and then enter upon construction. The time remaining we should take all necessary measures as to preparation and clearing of the territory where construction works will be conducted, — Valery Zhukov stated.
Situation with new Yablonovskiy bridge evolves in a similar way. According to Valery Zhukov it is planned to complete the project engineering and get examination conclusion until the end of this year. Then the question of commencement of construction will be solved.
During the meeting Alexander Tkachev also paid attention to a range of other questions, particularly issues of streets and house yards cleaning up, repair of street lighting system and remediation of the city vegetation resources after falling of ice rain.
