The main topic of the conference of Krasnodar region teaching community taking place today in Krasnodar under the guidance of acting Governor of Kuban Veniamin Kondratiev was the strategy of Kuban education system development for the following five years. Vladimir Evlanov also took part in the conference work.
— What is teaching community lacking of today is simple human attention from the part of authorities. Teachers have always been at one of the highest level of the society. We should preserve the teachers, their potential and the high status of teacher’s profession, — Veniamin Kondratiev said.
The conference was participated by Chairman of Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Region Vladimir Beketov, Vice-Governors Anna Minkova and Ivan Peronko, Minister of Education and Research of Krasnodar Region Natalia Naumova, principals of Kuban universities and institutions of professional education, teachers of regular and special schools, Heads of regional districts and trade unions representatives.
Natalia Naumova presented major provisions of the Strategy. According to her, the future of Kuban education is in increase of accessibility and quality of educational services, in-depth development of the education system. The priority is to make kindergartens accessible for all children aged from three to seven. Another topical task is the construction of new and reconstruction of existing schools. Additionally, within the following five years the region is going to create more effective system of work with talented children; specialized classes will receive financial support.
The strategy also makes provisions for development of the project “School buses”. Yearly up to 50 vehicles will be purchased using the funds of regional budget.
In the course of the meeting when talking about human recourses in education system Veniamin Kondratiev underlined that it is important not only to construct new schools and create modern conditions for qualitative teaching but also to enhance the prestige of teaching profession. Additional measures to support young teachers play a significant role.
On behalf of parents Chairman of parents’ community council Vladimir Vyatkin thanked all teachers of the region for their activity and personal involvement and also remarked that it is firstly families and parents themselves who should work for the teachers’ authority and enhancement of their role in society because parents are the first teachers for their children.
After completion of the official part on Theatre Square, the main square of Krasnodar, Veniamin Kondratiev presented eighteen new buses keys to principals of educational institutions of Krasnodar Region. Director of regular school №68 located in Kolosistyy village Sergey Fateichev also received Fiat new bus key.
— This is a valuable gift timed to the new school year. Presently 850 children are in the school, 478 out of them daily go to school from the closest settlements — Kopanskoy hamlet, Novyy and Krasnolit villages, gardeners' partnerships and farms. And now together with this new comfortable bus totally fourteen buses will carry pupils to the school, — Sergey Fateichev said.
New bus is equipped with GLONASS system, every seat with safety belts and there is also space for school rucksacks storing.
According to information of municipal administration department of education beginning from September 2015 in Krasnodar nearly 100 buses are engaged in carrying children to schools.
