Head of the capital of Kuban held negotiations with French Embassy Adviser on agricultural issues in Russia, representative of regional economic commission Katia Roinet.
— Krasnodar is advanced agroindustrial city with concentration of agricultural research institutions with their own experimental farms. Besides that we actively develop Eastern Industrial Zone and are interested that innovative processing enterprises including French ones come to us. There will be possibly those ones which participate in International exhibition “YUGAGRO” in Krasnodar these days, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
Krasnodar’s Head thanked the French Embassy representative for her visit and underlined the importance of bilateral cooperation, in particular, between French and Russian cities.
— The preparation of agreement on cooperation between Krasnodar and French city Nancy is well under way. Preliminary arrangements have been achieved during French delegation’s visit in Krasnodar in September this year to celebrate 222nd birthday of the capital of Kuban, — Vladimir Evlanov told. He also invited Katia Roinet to attend festive events of the City Day in September 2016.
Vladimir Evlanov emphasized that the singing of agreement with French Nancy flows organically from fruitful intermunicipal cooperation with German Karlsruhe, sister city of Krasnodar and Nancy as well. During September visit of French delegation the prospects for cooperation of youth and students were discussed.
For her part French Embassy Adviser told that these very days the French-Russian Week of scientific and technological partnership in the sphere of agriculture is held. Representatives of ten French companies take part in International exhibition “YUGAGRO” in Krasnodar and will conduct scientific and practical conference “Days of France. Innovations in crop growing” on 26 November. French companies widely present technologies and means of protection, fertilizing and watering of cultivated crops.
Vladimir Evlanov ordered Chief of the department of agricultural development Grigory Slyusarenko to thrash out the project of creation joint Russian-French processing agricultural plant at the territory of Krasnodar.
Additionally, Katia Roinet revealed aspects of cooperation between Kuban State University and university of Bordeaux. Particularly, on the base of Krasnodar university the French language centre was opened — now its graduates have the opportunity to obtain a diploma of French higher educational institution.
Vladimir Evlanov told about traditions of fruitful cooperation in the area of urban land beautification and landscape architecture. French architects willingly share their experience in creation parkings and promenade areas during international landscape architecture conference taking place in Krasnodar two years in row.
It is to be recalled that International agroindustrial exhibition “YUGAGRO” takes place in Krasnodar from 25 to 27 November. Being the largest in Russia the exhibition unites 9 topic sections: “Agricultural machinery. Parts”, “Agrochemical products”, “Watering and irrigation equipment”, “Hothouse equipment”, “Livestock and poultry equipment”, “Veterinary products”, “Equipment for storing and processing of agricultural products”, “Forages and fodder additives for animals”, “Planting material and seeds”. In 2015 the exhibition is participated by 613 companies, 456 of them are Russian and 157 are foreign companies from over 30 countries.
