Representatives of business community of Kuban Region and Krasnodar are invited to take part in the 5th interregional Russian-Armenian forum which will be held in the capital of Armenia with the participation of both countries Presidents in September 2016.
The forum organizers are the Russian Federation Ministry for Economic Development and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development of the Republic of Armenia. The forum, which will take place in Yerevan, will bring together nearly 300 official and business representatives from both countries — chiefs of federal, regional and municipal bodies of executive and representative authorities, business community.
It is expected that during the forum chief executives of Krasnodar Region administration and representatives of the Armenian party will conclude an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of trade-economic, scientific-technological and humanitarian activities.
Besides the plenary session the forum programme will also offer various exhibitions, meetings and roundtables in the course of which participants will consider different ways for Krasnodar Region to participate in the processes of Eurasian integration deepening.
Each participant of business community participating in the forum will have the possibility to present one’s own products at the exhibitions.
Krasnodar Region will present its best practices in spheres of local agricultural products promotion outside the region, innovative and scientific-technological cooperation, the region tourist cluster development, educational institutions programmes and the youth cooperation. There will be also the presentation of common Armenian-Russian projects in the field of education, science, culture and sports.
Krasnodar and Yerevan have close economic and cultural ties. In 2014 Krasnodar City administration and Yerevan municipality have signed an agreement on cooperation and partnership. Traditionally, the official delegation of Yerevan takes part in celebrations on City Day of Krasnodar.
