5 thousand 700 people are resettled from ramshackle and dangerous dwellings in Krasnodar

Today one discussed plans regarding resettlement of Krasnodar citizens into new well-furnished apartments. 

— We have to be tackling the issue constantly because the city’s look depends on it and what is more importantly it concerns comfort and creation of good living conditions for our citizens, — Vladimir Evlanov underlined.

Beginning from 2009, 3573 Krasnodar citizens who had formerly resided in 1321 ramshackle housing units got 1359 new well-furnished apartments through Federal Law №185 “On Support Fund for the Reform of the Housing and Utilities Sector”. For this purpose over 1 billion rubles were allocated from federal, regional and municipal budgets.

The program realization is continued in this year as well. 63 well-furnished apartments have been already purchased for resettlement of 162 citizens from their 62 dangerous dwellings. This year almost 133 mln rubles including 67,5 mln from the city budget are allocated for the purpose.

Besides of that, in period from 2008 to 2011 over 2200 Krasnodar citizens were resettled from dangerous dwellings into 911 new apartments purchased through regional target program “Capital city image to Krasnodar”.
