The arrangements for introducing amendments to the general plan of Krasnodar development were discussed during today’s meeting held under the chairmanship of First Deputy Governor of Kuban Dzhambulat Khatuov and Head of Krasnodar Vladimir Evlanov.
— Existing general plan of Krasnodar was developed more than 10 years ago and now is outdated. It doesn’t meet modern requirements of the megalopolis development and needs to be amended on a number of fronts. It is necessary to carry out all activities for changing the document within the shortest time period, — Dzhambulat Khatuov said.
The work of the meeting was participated by Minister of Construction, Architecture and Road Maintenance of Krasnodar Region Valery Zhukov, Chief of the department of architecture and city construction of Krasnodar Region administration Yuri Rysin, Deputy Heads of Krasnodar, Chief architect of the city Igor Mazurok, Chiefs of structural subdivisions of Krasnodar administration, Heads of urban districts.
— Amendments to the general plan have to conform to new requirements to land zoning; we should make provisions for creation of new green areas and parks with due account for Krasnodar development. All of this must be stipulated and set forth in a new plan in order we have high-quality official document which reflects needs of the city and citizens as well as priorities in the development of comfort urban environment for today and future, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
During the meeting Yuri Rysin stated that the general plan of Krasnodar requires amendments to planning patterns of microdistricts, development of Karasun ponds, Kuban River embankment, new transport system and infrastructure networks modernization and development plan.
