Krasnodar Head took the second place of the popularity rating among Mayors of regional capital cities of the Russian Federation made by Center of Information Communications “Rating” (CIC “Rating”) in April.
April’s rating of Mayors is posted on the official website of the project “People’s rating”. April’s research is the third one in this year. The research focuses on Heads of regional capitals of the Russian Federation. Array of information on a major part of Russian regional capitals was collected in period of March-April 2015.
Following the results of April Vladimir Evlanov became second among other leaders of the rating. February’s rating also ranked Krasnodar Head second, in March he was in the first place.
The top three also includes Head of Belgorod Sergey Bozhenov (Belgorod Region) at first place and Head of Kazan Ilsur Metshin (the Republic of Tatarstan) – third. The fourth place went to Khanty-Mansyisk’s Mayor Maxim Ryashin (Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous Region). Ivan Kononenko, Mayor of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Region capital, is the fifth.
When making the rating researchers used materials from open sources and inside information. However, the main attention was paid to the opinion of regional and federal experts. The source became determinative for the final results of the rating.
“People’s rating” is a new long-term project for studying public opinion of Russian citizens. The project was launched by Center of Information Communications “Rating” (CIC “Rating”). A large-scale research under the project is aimed to give an estimate of the RF regional capitals Heads.
The rating is based on in-depth investigation of respondents’ opinion on the most troublous and challenging questions. Thematic scope of the research is rather wide and not limited to political or social spheres.
Information is collected by means of simultaneous telephone survey conducted in no less than 76 regions of Russia.
It will be remembered that the first rating was published in May 2014. Vladimir Evlanov became leader in five months out of eight of the past year.
