Public hearings to make amendments to General plan of the city will be held in Krasnodar

The amendments are to be discussed at conferences with participation of citizens in all urban districts, rural settlements, at deputy hearings, during roundtables with Krasnodar chief executives and at sessions of the commission for use and development of land.

— Recent years intensive construction activities have been carried out in Krasnodar. Every year developers of the city commissioned more than 1 million square meters of housing making social, engineering and transport infrastructure more loaded. By order of the city Head Vladimir Evlanov the work on correcting separate fragments of Krasnodar’s General plan is being currently carried out. Territorial Institute for housing and civil engineering “Krasnodargrazhdanproject” has worked out the project of amendments to such fragments of the General plan. From the mid-November General plan will be deliberated in a broad range of citizens, community and specialists. The second stage of works stipulates a large-scale correction of spatial planning for all spheres of the city life, — Chief Architect of Krasnodar Igor Mazurok stated.

The new General plan of Krasnodar provides placement of electricity, heat, gas and water supply facilities, power supply network facilities, water intake structures, substations with a capacity of 110 and 220 kV, reconstruction of purification plants in the area of Elizavetinskaya village and reconstruction of high-pressure gas pipeline “Korenovsk-Dinskaya” in the area of Lazurny settlement.

It is also supposed to make amendments with regard to street and road network and the following development of municipal public electric transport.

The General plan will also provide for the development of facilities of physical culture and sports, healthcare, education, preservation the existing and projecting new recreation and park areas. In strict adherence to the confirmed land planning documentation new land parcels will be allocate for housing construction, public and business, utility and industrial purposes.

We set task to work out General plan which will make provisions for stability, new investment opportunities and the city prospective development for 25 years, - Igor Mazurok underlined.

At the conclusion of public hearings regarding amendments to General plan of Krasnodar the project on amendments and additions will be published in mass media. Then it undergoes review in administration of Krasnodar Region and will be submitted for approval of Krasnodar City Duma.

At 59th session of Board of Directors Krasnodar Head Vladimir Evlanov remarked that the current General plan of the city had been developed in 2004-2007, passed considerations and finally entered into force in 2012. By Mayor’s opinion, now the document doesn’t reflect existing housing development, all architectural factors emerged at a later time and needs of the city in social and engineering infrastructure.
