The meeting with the Republic of Belarus delegation was held in Krasnodar City administration. Participants discussed issues of the development of bilateral cooperation, in particular, participation of Belarus construction companies in reconstruction of the city center, construction of transport junctions, designing objects including social infrastructure — schools, kindergartens and polyclinics.
— The Republic of Belarus and our city are for many years related by bonds of close friendship — bilateral cooperation in many spheres and branches is actively developing. Particularly, more and more shops with Belarus products open in Krasnodar; we are negotiating with our Belarus partners for the supply of machines. And still we have many other spheres for cooperation to get benefit for both parties — this is the construction of residential houses as well as roads, bridges, transport junctions and designing construction objects, — Vladimir Evlanov remarked in his opening speech.
The working meeting was participated by First Deputy Minister of architecture and urban development of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Kruchanov, First Deputy Minister of construction, architecture and road facilities of Krasnodar Region Yuri Rysin, Chairwoman of Krasnodar City Duma Vera Galushko, Deputy Heads of Krasnodar, chiefs of the departments of Krasnodar administration, representatives of Belarus and Krasnodar companies.
— Our specialists have taken part in implementation of many projects at the territory of Krasnodar Region, assisted the Region in flood relief in Krymsk and worked at Olympic construction sites in Sochi. However the potential of our companies has been used not to the full extent — construction sector of Belarus is ready to take part in implementation of projects in industry and civil construction using the most advanced materials and technologies, — Alexander Kruchanov said.
In the course of the meeting they arrived at the decision that work on the development of cooperation between Krasnodar and Belarus will be coordinated by “Slavyanskiy Alians” company.
— We could start with implementation of our projects in reconstruction of one of quarters in the central part of Krasnodar. Indeed, you have rich experience in reconstruction of cities after the Great Patriotic War, erection of new modern microdistricts, — Vladimir Evlanov said.
Along with official reception in Krasnodar administration, members of Belarus delegation also attended CLAAS plant, Krasnodar tram and trolleybus Directorate, Transport and navigation center of Krasnodar.
Besides that there was the presentation of Belarus buses of large and medium capacity and construction machines at Theatre Square.
Annually enterprises and companies of the Republic of Belarus take part in “YugAgro” exhibition in Krasnodar and International Investment Forum in Sochi. Krasnodar companies in their turn yearly participate in “Belagro” exhibition.
