At the end of the first month of new year Krasnodar Head still keeps leading position in the rating for citedness and context mentioning of SFD capital cities Heads in mass media made by independent Russian research company Medialogy. Vladimir Evlanov has topped the list during the whole last year and still keeps the lead in January 2015.
January media rating is posted at the official web-site of Medialogy. All Mayors are ranked in it according to so called the value of media index. At January-end Vladimir Evlanov leads with media index – 896,63.
The second and third positions of the rating on the results of January 2015 were taken by Volgograd Head Andrey Kosolapov (525,84) and Head of Maikop Alexander Narolin (219,34).
The rating authors laid emphasis on events with participation of Krasnodar’s Mayor which were actively covered in mass media in January – for example, Vladimir Evlanov’s visit in transport and navigation center during which he stated the necessity to connect all public transport vehicles to GLONASS.
As a reminder, in 2014 Vladimir Evlanov became the absolute leader in media rating of chief executives of SFD capital cities. Kuban capital Head kept leadership in monthly ratings in the course of the whole previous year – from January to December.
Vladimir Evlanov tops the Medialogy media rating for two years in a row. In 2013 Krasnodar Head was the leader in the rating following the results of 8 months and also took the first place in overall media rating at year-end.
Media rating of Mayors of SFD capital cities is made by independent Russian research company Medialogy on the basis of Medialogy mass media database that includes 22200 most influential resources: TV, radio, newspapers, magazines, informational agencies and online media.
When ranking Mayors of capital cities of SFD constituent entities, frequency and the context of their citedness in media, role in information material (major or secondary), presence of direct or indirect speech related to the person and other factors are considered.
