At the city administration of Krasnodar there was an online meeting with Mirjam Büdenbender, the new Regional Commissioner of the German Embassy in Krasnodar Region.
During the meeting questions on two blocks were discussed: economic and humanitarian.
Mirjam Büdenbender was told about the activities of firms with foreign capital in Krasnodar, such as CLAAS and STIHL. The attractiveness of Krasnodar for investments and the interest of the city in cooperation with German firms was pointed out.
Also a significant part of the conversation was given to the development of Krasnodar's sister-city relations with Karlsruhe.
Mirjam Büdenbender was impressed with the scale of work of Krasnodar's sister-city relations with Karlsruhe, so she expressed readiness to assist in further developing bilateral links.
Both sides hope that the situation will improve considerably, and Krasnodar will be able to hold a traditional City Day in September 2021 with participation of delegations from Krasnodar's sister-cities, including Karlsruhe.
In conclusion, participants agreed to exchange information on topical cooperation projects between Russia and Germany.
