The first meeting of representatives of the department of foreign relations and protocol of the city administration of Krasnodar with the director of the department of foreign relations of the city of Rishon LeZion (Israel) took place via videoconference.
Representatives of the city of Krasnodar told the Israeli side about the modern development of the city, cultural features as well as the numerous festivals and events held in Krasnodar. The cultural diversity of Rishon LeZion is represented by vivid events, including the annual wine festival popular in the city.
During the discussion of the educational sphere of the cities, major leading universities and schools of Krasnodar aroused the interest of the Israeli side as a possible area for further cooperation between two cities. The parties also discussed promising areas of cooperation in the sports sphere as well as in the field of youth affairs. Representatives of Krasnodar and Rishon LeZion agreed to implement a number of projects in the field of school education and ecological transport.
