The official delegation of the administration of the city of Krasnodar took part in the events dedicated to the celebration of the City Day of Sukhum.
As part of the program, representatives of Krasnodar took part in an official reception by the mayor of Sukhum Mr. Beslan Eshba, during which congratulations were conveyed to Sukhum on behalf of the mayor of Krasnodar Mr. Evgeny Pervyshov and the chairwoman of the City Duma of Krasnodar Vera Galushko.
Beslan Eshba thanked the delegation of Krasnodar for warm congratulations. “We are very glad to see you on holidays in our city. Our cities are sister-cities. And people who live in our cities feel it. The plans that we have outlined, we will gradually move forward. We are hindered by some events, a pandemic, but we will also defeat that. Everything will work out, the main thing is to see each other, make friends and treat each other honestly, and then everything will work out”, Beslan Eshba said.
On July 3, a delegation from Krasnodar, together with a delegation from Sukhum, Donetsk and Cheboksary, laid flowers in the Park of Glory in memory of the people of Abkhazia who died in the Patriotic War. The Krasnodar delegation was invited to a gala concert on the Bagapsh Square in the evening.
During their stay in Sukhum, issues of further cooperation between Krasnodar and Sukhum were discussed, namely the exchange of experience between specialists of the Krasnodar Tram and Trolleybus Department with the Trolleybus Department of the Sukhum City Administration and the opening of trade houses in Krasnodar and Sukhum, where products will be presented directly from manufacturer.
