The representatives of the city administration of Krasnodar, the Kuban State Agrarian University, and the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (Uppsala, Sweden) held an introductory video meeting on 29 June 2021.
The video conference was devoted to discussing promising areas of cooperation between the two agricultural universities. The participants told in detail about scientific and educational activities of KubSAU and SLU, and expressed their interest in further development of inter-university collaboration. They are ready to enter into discussions on specific joint initiatives in the nearest future.
Specifically, environmental protection issues and agriculture information technologies are of particular interest for both sides. As is well known, the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences is one of the world's best research centers dedicated to the development of innovative technologies in agriculture.
