Krasnodar and Belgrade are at the initial stage of establishing partnerships and are actively discussing opportunities for bilateral collaboration. The first point of contact between the Kuban and Serbian capitals was cooperation in the sphere of culture.
Representatives of the Children's Cultural Centre of Belgrade and the city administration of Krasnodar, along with the director of the Ptashinskiy Children's Art School discussed details of the first joint project between Krasnodar and Belgrade – a competition of children's drawings "Krasnodar and Belgrade through the eyes of children".
Based on the results of the contest, winners in two age categories (7-11 years old and 12-15 years old) will be selected, who will be awarded with certificates and gifts. In addition, the winner in a special category – the Audience Choice Award – will be selected by online voting.
The works of young talents are going to be collected in October and sent to one of the participating cities (Krasnodar or Belgrade) for the exhibition.
